Quilt Creation Story

Ivy Jensen created the 3 panels with Continental employees from the JFK Reservations offices.

She reached out to a graphic designer for help and got over 100 employees to participate in the project. The quilt is on display at the 1940 Air Terminal Museum, where it was donated after Continental merged with United Airlines.

Ivy Jensen

As a genetically predisposed to fabric and thread person, Ivy Jensen expanded the traits inherited to include surface design, marbling, machine quilting, creating art to wear and jewelry. She uses techniques and materials in new and different ways.
